1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6 RK Collections LLC recently sold this spectacularly restored pristine 70 Chevelle via auction listing for a whopping $110,000.00 US. A quick look at the ‘70 Chevelle pictures provided with the sale will tell you why it sold for so much, an extreme amount of effort went into restoring it properly. I love the picture of it’s under carriage especially! A true rare find for this year and model of Chevelle.

Title: SS 454 LS6 Rated at 450HP With Numbers Matching Mileage: 18,088 miles Location: Concord, NC Body type: Coupe Engine: 8 Cylinder Exterior color: Green Transmission: Manual Fuel type: Gasoline Interior color: Black
Seller Description: Back in 1970, Chevrolet must have seen the end of the Muscle Car horsepower wars coming. So they pulled out all the stops and created the “King” of all the standard passenger-car production factory-horsepower-rated muscle cars of the era. This was the 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS6. It was factory rated at 450 HP and 500 lbs ft of torque—the highest factory HP rating for any production engine of the muscle-car era. It must have made for a very sizeable insurance premium check for those who opted for it.
