September 18, 2009Nitrous Oxide or NOS is affected by changes in temperature much like gasoline or race fuel is. Unlike gasoline pressure (psi) is an important factor in the effectiveness of your NOS bottle. Since Nitrous Oxide is stored under pressures that reach above 900psi a drop of even 10 degrees can cause a noticeable difference in bottle pressure.

A NOS Bottle Heater can help keep your NOS bottle at the exact temperature recommended by your nitrous oxide manufacturer (85 degrees Fahrenheit is common).

A lightweight nos bottle heater thermostat controls the on/off switch and a relatively simple wiring harness is included. Since nitrous oxide can cause serious injuries be sure to follow the instructions carefully, for example I wouldn’t recommend using a nitrous oxide warmer on a carbon fiber bottle or near a stock fuel tank.
