How this horsepower calculator works:

Step #1 – Estimate your vehicles total weight including driver (required). Step #2 – Enter your vehicles quarter mile top speed (aka trap time, optional). Step #3 – Enter your vehicles quarter mile elapsed time (aka E/T, optional). Step #4 – Press “Estimate Horsepower!” and get your estimated results.

Please note that steps #2 and #3 are marked as optional however for the calculator to work you must provide data for whichever method you prefer or, if you have the data, provide the data for both. The math used will provide estimated horsepower calculations however it is not 100% accurate so consider it a total horsepower estimate only.

E/T method math = ET/5.825*3, Speed Trap method = speed/234*3.
