69 Camaro RS Z28 HomeRekr in NC

This 1969 Camaro RS Z28 dubbed HomeRekr with vin #124379N560130 was recently spotted in NC and I like it enough to give it a passing grade here on Auto Nationals. It sports a custom two tone paint and is powered by the ever popular Chevrolet 302 DZ engine backed by a Muncie M-22 Rock Crusher transmission and a 4:10 positive traction 12-bolt rear end.
69 Camaro RS Z28 restoration included adding tubular control arms to help suspension performance and 11 inch Wilwood disc brakes that have been slotted and drilled bring this muscle car to a stop. The interior was freshened with black and red hounds tooth cloth ,ixed with a brushed aluminum look dash and a set of old style gauges.

The 69 Camaro Rally Sport sits on 2 inch drop spindles and it also has hideaway headlights for an aggresive and confident look and the faded Z-28 ghost stripes add to the overall appearance of the HomeRekr. The choice of rims aren’t my personal favorite but they work well overall to make a complete working package.
The 69’s Camaro engine, as you can see in the pictures above, is a cleanly rebuilt 302 cubic inch V8. Other goodies packed into this ready to wreck Chevy Camaro include bucket seats, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, tinted windows and fresh cortez silver and black paint.
